To the glory of God, I am Pastor Mohamed Samuel Kamara, a servant of the Most High, an ordained Pastor and Prophet. As a young boy, I was popularly known as Alhaji. Today, by the grace of God, I stand as a vessel of His power, purpose, and divine assignment. I am the son of Mr. Mohamed Bandabla Kamara, a retired Chief Inspector of the Sierra Leone Police Force from Kailahun District, and Mrs. Cecilia Kamara, a trained Maternal and Child Health Aide from Bo District, Sierra Leone. I was born in Kenema, raised and educated in Bo, and spent much of my childhood in the police barracks. There was a common saying then: “police pikin nor dey bette”—a policeman’s child never prospers. I rejected that narrative.
