There are moments in a nation’s history when courage walks through the doors of power—not for personal gain, but for the sake of the people. One such moment happened when our Prophet, the Leader of the LPP ( Pastor Mohamed Samuel Kamara), walked into the office of the former President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, at State House.
He did not go there seeking favors, positions, or wealth. He went carrying a burden in his heart—a burden for the youths of our beloved country. With the calm dignity of a servant of God and the boldness of a shepherd protecting his flock, he stood before the President and spoke.
“Your Excellency,” he began, “our young people are the strength of this nation. They are not weapons for political battles; they are builders for Sierra Leone’s future. The Word of God says in Ecclesiastes 12:1, ‘Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.’ We must guide them toward service, not destruction; towards leadership, not manipulation.”
The room grew quiet. Even in the halls of power, the truth carried weight. The Prophet opened the Scriptures again, pointing to Proverbs 22:6: ‘Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.’ He reminded the President that if we invest in our youths with integrity and opportunity, we would reap a generation that fears God, serves the nation, and refuses to be misused for political violence.
He spoke not as a politician chasing votes, but as a father protecting his children, as a leader who sees beyond elections to the destiny of Sierra Leone.
When he left State House that day, he did not just leave words behind—he left a seed of hope, a vision that one day our youths will take their rightful place in governance, guided by wisdom and anchored in faith.
And that vision, born in the heart of a Prophet and spoken before the highest office in the land, continues to inspire the LPP and all who believe that Sierra Leone’s brightest days are still ahead.
