For more than twelve years, Pastor Mohamed Samuel Kamara has stood as a courageous and consistent voice for young people—long before youth inclusion became fashionable, convenient, or politically attractive. His advocacy for youth participation in governance is neither new nor seasonal; it is a calling, a conviction, and a lifelong mission.
In recognition of his long-standing commitment to youth empowerment and leadership, Pastor Kamara was formally invited by His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda to participate in an official YouthConnect Africa forum in Rwanda. During this historic engagement, Pastor Kamara had the privilege of interacting directly with young leaders from across the continent.
At the YouthConnect forum, he delivered a compelling and purpose-driven address that challenged young people to rise, participate, and take responsibility in governance and nation-building. His message was clear and powerful: believe in yourself, become self-sufficient, be self-reliant, and claim your rightful place at the decision-making table.
During this international engagement, Pastor Kamara interacted with senior government officials, parastatals, policymakers, and global stakeholders, strengthening relationships that reflect his growing international leadership presence and global connections. He also participated in a high-level dinner with the Prime Minister of Rwanda and other influential stakeholders—an affirmation that his voice and vision resonate beyond borders.
This milestone was not accidental. It was the result of years of tireless work—advocating for youth involvement in governance, defending the rights of children in conflict with the law, and building strong advocacy networks that empower the next generation. Pastor Kamara’s mission has always been to create pathways for young people to move from the margins to the center of leadership.
Through the grace of God, Pastor Kamara remains committed to leveraging global platforms, innovative ideas, and strategic partnerships to advance youth empowerment—not only in Sierra Leone, but across Africa and the world. His vision is to raise a generation of confident, informed, and courageous young leaders who understand that governance is not reserved for a few, but is a shared national responsibility.
The time is now.
Now is the time for youth to be involved in decision-making.
Now is the time for youth to be heard, trusted, and empowered.
This has always been Pastor Kamara’s campaign.
This has always been his advocacy.
And this is the future he continues to build—one youth, one voice, one nation at a time
